An officer of the "Shqiponja" department was wounded by a gunshot this Wednesday afternoon in Tirana. The incident happened on "Hysen Xhura" street, in the Kinostudio area, while the police patrol was following a suspicious person.

Officer Edlir Alleshi received two bullets in the abdomen and after undergoing surgery, his life is out of danger in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the arrest of Klered Bozhan, the 42-year-old who wounded the police officer Edlir Alleshi with a firearm, has been located and is expected.

The author Klered Bozhani is in Tirana, while it is known that in police station no. 4 was accompanied by his brother, who can be used to negotiate for handing over to the police.

Sources from the police informed that the author is suspected of having connections with people with a criminal past in the area.
