The police of Korça have identified three of the perpetrators of the violence against a 14-year-old boy yesterday evening in the city of Korça.

Two of the suspected perpetrators, who are minors, have been taken to the police, while another has been declared wanted.

More specifically, the detention of AE citizens, 17 years old and Dh. F., 15 years old, resident of Korçë, and citizen LL, 16 years old, resident of Korçë, was declared wanted.

The minors raped the 14-year-old with two wooden sticks and a metal rod, causing severe fractures to his head. He was transported to the Trauma hospital in Tirana, where he is under the care of doctors.

Police notification:

The 3 suspected perpetrators of the incident that happened yesterday evening, in neighborhood no. 12, Korçë, where during a conflict for weak motives, a minor citizen was injured with strong means.

2 of the perpetrators are put in handcuffs, the other one is declared wanted.

Three sticks that were used by the suspected perpetrators during the conflict for weak motives are seized.

Specialists of the Department for the Investigation of Serious Crimes of DVP Korçë, in cooperation with the services of the Korçë Police Station, after an intensive investigative work for the event that occurred on 08.10.2023, in neighborhood no. 12, Korçë, where during a conflict for weak motives, a 14-year-old was injured with strong means, they made it possible to identify the 3 suspected perpetrators of this event, 2 of whom were accompanied and questioned in the presence of a psychologist , while the other is declared wanted.

Following the actions, AE citizens, 17 years old and Dh. F., 15 years old, resident of Korçë, and citizen LL, 16 years old, resident of Korçë, was declared wanted.

From the investigative actions carried out and from the evidence provided, it turned out that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, during the conflict, hit the 14-year-old boy with hard objects, who is currently in the trauma hospital in Tirana, under the care of doctors. .

As material evidence, three sticks (two wooden and one metal) were seized, which are suspected to have been used by the perpetrators of the event during the conflict.

The work to capture the wanted citizen continues.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
