The next hearing at the Criminal Court of Shkodra of the Mayor of Shkodra , Benet Beci , and other defendants has been postponed.

It is learned that the reason for this is the absence of the prosecutors in the case, the next session is expected to be held on June 9.

The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, is accused of " violating equality in tenders ".  

The investigation was launched mainly on the basis of the referral of acts by investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) and is related to the time when Benet Beci was at the head of the Albanian Electric Power Corporation, these investigations were launched after the seizure of material evidence in Evis Berber's apartment.

The subject of this investigation is a procurement procedure developed by the Corporation, with the object " Strategic Development of the Energy Sector (Research Project) ", with no. REF-46463-12-18-2019, with a fund limit of 69,500,000 (sixty-nine million five hundred thousand) lek.
