The driver of a concrete mixer in Durrës has been criminally prosecuted by the Police, after several images published on social networks, while unloading the heavy tonnage vehicle on the seashore. He is accused of the criminal offense of "water pollution".

Reaction of the Durrës Local Police Directorate

Regarding a video published today on social networks, where a heavy tonnage vehicle (concrete mixer) appeared, pouring concrete waste on the edge of the sea in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, we clarify that:

The services of Plazh Police Station, after broadcasting the footage on social networks, immediately organized the work to identify and accompany the driver of the concrete mixer.

The Police Services have identified, captured and escorted to the Police premises, the citizen Gj. N., 43 years old, resident of Katund te Ri, Durrës, where at the end of the first investigative actions, the crime investigation specialists at Plazh Police Station prosecuted the manager of the concrete mixer, citizen Gj. N., for the criminal offense "Water pollution".

The State Police thanks the media and the citizens who denounce cases of illegality and assures the citizens that the local and central Police structures will react immediately to bring to justice the persons involved in illegality and crime.
