Illegally exploiting inert materials in the Valbona River, a company is fined

The National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IKMT) has fined Sh. Mulosmani 2 million lekë for exploiting inert materials from the Valbona riverbed in violation of legal provisions.

Meanwhile, IKMT has suspended its activities until it is provided with the relevant permit according to the legislation in force.

Illegal interventions in the Valbona River bed, IKMT fines and suspends the entity.

The National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection verified on the ground the reports of illegal activity on the Valbona riverbed.

During the inspection, it was found that the entity Sh.Mulosmani was exploiting inert materials from the riverbed in violation of legal provisions.

Due to the violations found, IKMT took an administrative measure with a fine of 2,000,000 lek and suspension of activity until the relevant permit is issued according to the legislation in force.

The subject was charged with the obligation to correct the violations found and eliminate their consequences.
