Albert Pashaj , the owner of the hotel in Ksamil who was raped yesterday with hard objects, said in a television interview that the problem started on November 15th of last year when applications for the division of beaches began.

Continuing, Pashaj says that he has been constantly threatened by Agim Taraj and that a month ago he was raped and that a report was filed for this incident.

Pashaj, among other things, says that the division of beaches should be done by the municipality and the Coastal Agency, but that these institutions have constantly played ping-pong with each other.

Pasha revealed that he also went to the mayor and that he told him to take only 20 tents and to take the rest to Taraj. 

Pashaj: I'm hit in the head, I'm broken. The problem isn't that it started yesterday. Not just the physical violence against me and my family, but it's been going on for several months. Since the beach applications opened on November 15, I've been threatened by Agim Taraj, indirectly and directly, to withdraw and not apply. I told him no because the law gives it to me, I've invested several million euros, I can't have a hotel, an accommodation unit when the law gives it and not have sun loungers. These pressures have continued continuously. I received approval from the Coastal Agency, 52 tents have been approved for the accommodation structure because I meet all the conditions. When I receive the approval, they told me to report to the municipality, pay the rent and have the municipality come to take measurements for the placement of the tents. I went there and the municipality told me no, wait today and no, wait tomorrow. Then he told me that you don't get as many tents as you and the other subject Agim Taraj, who has no accommodation structure, no hotel at all. I went to the Coastal Agency and told them that the municipality does not approve me for this reason. They tell me that the municipality has a duty to do the measurements on the ground. The municipality never came and played ping pong with the Coastal Agency. I informed Kumbaro 2-3 times. On June 6, Taraj came and in front of 50-60 tourists, he raped me, I filed a report and the case is with the prosecutor's office. The family, the bride together with the children went to go to the beach, to the so-called public beach because from the moment the municipality did not come to approve my plan and I did not fill out the documents to send them to the Coastal Agency and after it receives approval from the Coastal Agency, the municipality must come. I did not do it because the municipality never came and the deadlines were missed. The Coastal Agency sends me a message that you did not complete the documents and we did not qualify you. This was not my fault, it was the municipality's fault. Previously, Taraj used this beach. Now I have the hotel, while Taraj has the buildings next to it, some small objects. The law gives it to me, I did not ask for Taraj to move, but for me to take a part because the law gives it to me. The Municipality and the Coastal Agency should have made this division and they never did. I have sent several messages to Minister Kumbaro, she has not replied to me. I have also met the mayor in the office and he told me to take 20 umbrellas and leave it to the other person. The Municipality of Saranda has not sent me any written document telling me why I am not benefiting from this. They verbally told me to take 20 umbrellas and leave it to him. I asked what is the reason? They told me to leave it to him. The Municipality has left us in the lurch. We pay the tax. 

Pashaj declared that if justice does not do its job, he will defend himself. 

Businessman: If justice will do its job, I leave it to justice. If justice will not do its job, then I will defend myself because I have nothing else to do.
