The police of Fier have reacted after the images published in the online media where an officer appeared physically conflicting with a citizen outside the police station of Patos.

The police clarified that the citizen was drunk and went to the police station threatening the officer with a pair of scissors.

"The BH citizen, 57 years old, resident of Rëres, Patos, in a drunken state, went to the Patos Police Station, and threatened with a pair of scissors the police officer who was on duty, the BK citizen, 54 years old, resident of Fier ." it is stated in the Police announcement.

The 57-year-old man was escorted to the premises of the Fier Police Station and actions are being carried out by the Prosecution OPGj for his arrest in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense "Intimidation due to duty".
