A knife injury occurred this afternoon in the city center of Shkodra, where two young men were in conflict with each other.

Both were injured and taken to the hospital to receive the necessary medical attention.

A knife-like cutting tool was used in the altercation.

The incident occurred near a place called Shatërvani, near the city center.

"Around 19:50, at the Shkodra Regional Hospital, citizen EP, 19 years old, and a 17-year-old, who were injured with a cutting tool (knife), presented for medical assistance, and are currently under the care of doctors.

Police services immediately went to the scene and, from the first investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens were injured with a cutting tool in the "Qemal Stafa" neighborhood, during a momentary conflict.

"The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and capture the perpetrators," the police announced.
