A 30-year-old woman was accidentally injured in the Kamza area, after allegedly being shot with a shotgun.

Police report that she presented herself for treatment at the Kamza polyclinic around 3:30 PM, and then left for her apartment after receiving the necessary medical assistance.

According to preliminary investigations, the suspected perpetrator of the injury is a 73-year-old man from Lakna, who fired a shotgun to scare away an animal, but a bullet injured the 30-year-old woman, who was in the yard of her uncle's apartment, on the cheek.

The police have accompanied the 73-year-old for further procedural actions, while work continues to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

At around 3:30 p.m., a notification was received that citizen EL, around 30 years old, had presented herself for treatment at the polyclinic in Kamëz.

The Investigation Team immediately went to the scene with the aim of clarifying the circumstances of the case and identifying and apprehending the perpetrator.

As a result of the investigative actions, citizen N. Sh., about 73 years old, resident of Laknas, was identified and escorted to the Police Station for further procedural actions. It is initially suspected that the 73-year-old fired a shotgun with the intention of driving away an animal and as a result, a shotgun shell injured citizen E. L., who was staying in the yard of her uncle's apartment in Laknas, on the cheek.

The 30-year-old woman moved into the apartment after receiving treatment.
