The U.S. Embassy in Tirana informs that eight members of the Republican Guard, who provide protection services to Albanian government officials, including SPAK prosecutors, have completed high-level tactical training by the U.S. Secret Service, which was held in Budapest. Among the Guard members who received training from American experts are the bodyguards of SPAK chief Altin Dumani.

“The United States helps protect those who help us fight organized crime. Recently, eight members of the Republican Guard, who provide protection services to Albanian government officials, including SPAK prosecutors, completed high-level tactical training from the U.S. Secret Service at the United States International Law Enforcement Academy in Budapest. The United States Embassy in Albania also provides tactical equipment and is proud to conduct regular training with the courageous individuals who keep justice officials in Albania safe,” the U.S. Embassy in Tirana announced.
