SPAK is verifying all tender procedures for the 7 lots of the Grand Ring Road, not just lot 4 for which Belinda Balluku and her subordinate, Evis Berberi, have already been put under investigation. Sources for Report TV say that there were communications between them for all the lots in several years, 2021-2023, which are still unopened.

At the Grand Ring Road, seven lots are under verification, there are communications, the procedure followed for the tenders is similar, with intervention and supervision, predetermination.

The 28.7 kilometer Tirana Ring Road cost around 450 million euros. All lots were won very close to the limit fund and in most cases other competing firms were disqualified.

Sources from SPAK say that other defendants are expected in the Balluku case.

In addition to the Great Ring Road, many other prosecution procedures are being verified and the investigation continues.
