The first, again in the province of Rogogo with the epicentre again at Ceneselli, occurred on October 25 and had a magnitude of 4.2.
That earthquake was also felt by populations across Veneto and Emilia. In downtown Bologna, searches began immediately on the Garisenda tower, given its precarious state in recent times.
Some schools had taken students out of classrooms in Ferrara province, where no damage had been reported however.
