The Albanian Football Federation has held a Gala this Friday evening at the Opera and Ballet Theater for awarding the best players of the past year. 

The head of the AFL, Armand Duka, during his speech also stopped at Prime Minister Edi Rama whom he thanked for the cooperation of the Albanian government with the Albanian Football Federation for the realization of the "Zeqir Ymeri" stadium in Kukës.

The duke informed that Rama is not present this evening due to a health reason.

"It is a year full of events, events and developments in Albanian football. We started the year with our debated and attacked Assembly, we continued with the football strategy for the nation, we continued with an important international event, the Europa Conference League final on May 25, which proved that not only the Football Federation but all of Albania can organize events important.

We inaugurated the Zeqir Ymeri stadium in Kukës, where in this case I thank the prime minister and the Albanian government for joining the Football Federation as in the previous two stadiums in Elbasan and Shkodër. At the same time, I want to wish the prime minister a speedy recovery, he would be here tonight, but for health reasons he is not", said Duka.
