"Dzheviti was showing jealousy for his wife", say his neighbors
The perpetrator and the victim

Neighbors of the author and victims of the serious crime registered in the village of Tervol in Gramsci have spoken to the media.

Neighbors have stated that the author Xhevit Sinani was known as a calm person who had no problems in the village and that they did not expect such a tragedy to happen.

Some others show that recently, Xhevit Sinani had shown signs of depression and jealousy for his wife.

This afternoon he killed his wife Zegjine Sinani with an ax in his apartment and then went and killed his brother Shaqir Sinani in the vineyard.

After the crime, he called his children and friends, where he told them what he had done.
