In the show "Your Story" on MCN TV, comes the story of Eqerem Isaij, who has been searching for his son's killer for 15 years.

Nurse Erion Isaj, 29 years old, was executed on July 24, 2008, around 12:00 midnight, where he was shot with 5 bullets on the threshold of the house where he breathed his last.

The suspects pointed the gun at his face, broke a tooth and severed a finger on his right hand, while it is suspected that the deceased recognized the perpetrators and attempts to save him were futile.

Neighbors interrogated by the police testify that the 29-year-old's last words were "Oh Mandi, they killed me".

At the time of the incident, the young man's family was living in the USA, while Erion was waiting to join them.

Eqerem Isai says that during the 7 days of mourning, he sent a message to the criminals every day, saying that "You would have done well to wash away your sins for the next world, to kill me as well, to kill Erion's mother and the two sisters of his. This is the only way to close this open wound that will never be closed".

The father says that his son was calm, an example in the neighborhood and that he was wise at work, as well as in the family.

He even adds that even when he crossed the street in front of women and the elderly, he would stop and put out his cigarette.

Eqerem Isaji says that his son did not use alcohol and filled his loneliness with two friends from Maliqi and the neighborhood friends he kept at home.

"They had a computer and a television, they were making noise inside the house. I arrived after two days and six hours from America. I made the last phone call with him at the beginning of July, and he asked me when I would come. In October, I told him that I didn't want to work. If there was a concern, I would have come. I had a bad dream for 2-3 days, but I didn't have the courage to tell my wife.

Sipas policisë kanë qenë dy persona, i ka çarë dhe është larguar. Ata i janë turrur mbas dhe e qëlluan. Ka rënë pesë shtëpi më larg se plumbi i parë. Çuni u ngrit pas plumbi i tretë, gjatë kësaj kohe ka thirrur shokun e vetë “O Mandi më vranë”. Kriminelët iu turrën prapë dhe e vranë. Katër plumba kanë dalë, njëri i ka ngelur në trup. Gazeta Shqiptare e Bolinos nxjerr një titull “U kap vrasësi i infermierit”. Krimineli është kapur në aeroportin e Rinasit, sikur ky kishte hyrë me Erionin dhe kishte dalë kur ishte vrarë Erioni, se i ka trazuar të fejuarën a motrën...

Me gazetë në dorë i shkoj drejtorit të policisë dhe më thanë e mbajtën 72 orë dhe më tej e liruan, se ishte i ngatërruar emri i babait. Në vitin 2010 mu shtua dhimbja, se një grua në këmbë filloi të hidhte letër kërcënuese me motive fetare nga një grua me emrin Natalia. Ajo thoshte “Nëse nuk na kthen kurorën e thyer dhe unazën ne do iu djegim, përvëlojmë dhe bëjmë shkrumb e hi. Ose më mirë largohuni nga Elbasani se do iu djegim të gjallë brenda.”
