Veliaj is transferred from the Security Bloc

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, will appear today at 08:30 at the GJKKO for verification of the security measure.

The escort car has just left the "Mine Peza" Security Block to head to the GJKKO building for the mass. While dozens of supporters of the mayor have gathered at the Court to provide moral support to Erion Veliaj.

Along with Veliaj, his wife, Ajola Xoxa, who has been placed under house arrest, and arrested businessman Elman Abule will also appear before the Special Court.

Five businessmen, Gentian Sula, Meriman Palushi, Fatmir Bektashi, Sokol Kryeziu and Shkëlqim Fusha, for whom a mandatory reporting measure has been imposed, will also appear for verification.
