The year 2002 is closing with a high balance of the number of accidents in our country. There are 9-10 accidents in a day and 3293 accidents were committed in a year.

This figure confirmed by the National Emergency Center, which with its ambulances is in every accident case, including those by car, motorcycle, bicycle and moped.

Drivers of monopaths are not even punished with fines even though they are in violation of traffic rules the most.

 "3293 accidents in total, 1771 car accidents, 718 motorcycle accidents, 385 pedestrian accidents, 399 bicycle and scooter accidents," said Skënder Brataj for Tch.

One of the main factors of accidents is disobeying the traffic code or driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Dr. Brataj shows the probability of losing life in an accident due to not wearing a seat belt.

"Trauma due to accidents are the main cause of disability in our country", said Brataj.
