Rock slide at Bovilla dam, some areas of Tirana without water

Tirana Water and Sewerage informed today that the landslide of a rock massif near the Bovilla dam has caused a defect in the DN 900 pipe, which will lead to restrictions on the supply of drinking water in several areas of the capital.

According to UKT, the areas that will have restrictions are the Center area, the Lapraka area, the 21st of December area, the Ish-Park area, the New Tirana area, the Blloku area, and the Yzberisht area.

Working groups are working with high intensity to restore normal supply as quickly as possible, UKT reports.
