The former mayor of Tepelena, Tërmet Peçi, appeared before the Special Prosecution Office this Tuesday.

After staying there for about an hour, he did not provide details to the media about the reason for the interrogation.

In April of this year, the Democratic Party filed a complaint with SPAK against the former mayor of Tepelena, who on May 11th received the mandate of deputy from the ranks of the Socialist Party.

Lawyer Adriana Kalaja has filed a complaint against Tërmet Peçi for corruption and abuse of reconstruction tenders, citing an affair that amounts to 66 million euros.

Lawyer Adriana Kalaja, in addition to Peç, has also reported Lorenc Bami, director of the Directorate of Planning and Control of Territorial Development in the Municipality of Tepelena, Alesanda Bami, wife of Lorenc Bami, partner of the company NG Structures shpk, Hekuran Hoxha, former partner of the company NG Structures, Fajton Hoxha, partner of the company NG Structures shpk, Julian Çela, economist of the company Iumentis shpk and cousin of Lorenc Bami.
