Aldo Majnishta, the person suspected by the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office for the kidnapping of Jan Prenga, refused to give statements at this Wednesday's session at the Special Anti-Corruption Court.
His escort from the detention cell to the first instance court was ordered in the last session by the black squads, so that Majnishta could give testimony about the event that occurred in January 2020.
In front of the court, he said, "I don't want to talk," which prompted the jury to adjourn the hearing and set the next one for May 21st.
In the last session at the Special Anti-Corruption Court, Dritan Rexhepi, who was extradited to Albania a short time ago for this trial, testified.
Unlike Majnishta, Dritan Rexhepi provided explanations, saying that he has no connection to the kidnapping and disappearance of citizen Jan Prenga and even denied having any acquaintance with his family or the defendants in this process.
On May 21, legal defense attorneys will make their objections to the new evidence filed by prosecutors Elida Kaçkini and Behar Dibra, regarding communications on the Sky Ecc application.
According to the prosecution, foreign authorities have received detailed conversations between Altin Hajri and Dritan Rexhepi, which are important for this process as they refer to the January 2020 event.
