A gruesome viral video circulating on social media, in which a minor girl is shown being physically abused by two girls while another films the entire scene without intervening, has shocked public opinion.

The footage shows the victim being repeatedly slapped and punched and dragged by the hair.

The two 15-year-olds who raped the 17-year-old were at the home of Leonela Lamaj, 19 years old.

The incident was reported to the Fier Police, immediately after the 17-year-old girl who was raped reported it on June 8. The police said that the three men had beaten the minor for weak motives and an investigation has been launched against them.

On June 28, one of the 15-year-olds involved was arrested. The arrest was made after the mother reported that she had been raped by her daughter. The 15-year-old was sent for treatment to a psychiatric hospital in Tirana.

According to sources, this morning, the head of the Fier Police, Erion Ahmetaj, was seen for more than an hour at the Prosecutor's Office premises, where it is learned that the focus of the meeting with Chief Prosecutor Elion Mustafaj was precisely the complete clarification of the circumstances of this event and the determination of legal responsibilities.
