This afternoon (Monday, 05) and tomorrow (Tuesday, 06) high intensity rainfall is expected mainly in the north and south of the country. In the regions of Shkodër, Kukës, Lezhë, Vlorë and Gjirokastër, there may be flash floods of small mountain rivers and landslides. In urban areas, localized flooding problems may occur in these regions, depending on the state of the sewerage.
According to IGJEO's hydrological calculations, as a result of the high-intensity rainfall over the past few days, which will continue until Thursday, January 8, there will be a dangerous increase in flows and levels in the Drin-Buna rivers, Lake Skadar, the Mat, Shkumbin and Vjosa rivers.
