Following the decision of the Kosovo Special Court in The Hague to convict former KLA leaders, Hashim Thaçi's son has reacted for the first time.

He says that no decision changes history.

"I thank all the Albanian brothers and sisters who traveled and waited for hours for the decision. In particular, those who did not stop speaking out even after the decision.

My gratitude goes to each of you who stood by us over the years, on this unfair journey of my father and his friends.

As soon as I return, I will join your voice, because this battle is not over. Just like my father today, who faced this day with his head held high, we too will continue forward with our heads held high, with dignity and prudence.

"We know our history. Our soldiers have it engraved on their skin, while our martyrs have sealed it with their blood. No decision can change this history ," writes Endrit Thaçi.
