The head of the Albanian government, during his speech today during the signing of the agreement for the new financing line between the European Investment Bank to support Albanian small and medium-sized businesses in innovation, once again focused on our country's goal of becoming part of the EU.

" We are here for something that is very important to us, that's why we wanted to emphasize this visit with the European Investment Bank as much as possible, because for us the need to do everything possible for those who believe in free enterprise is very important."

Dear Nadia, before we came here you asked me 'why do we continue to insist on becoming part of the EU?'.

"I have a very simple answer: because there is no alternative to individual freedom and the rule of law. Albania has never had a plan B ," Rama said.
