Edi Rama

During the presentation of the General Director of Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku and the new head of AMP, Ardi Veliu, Prime Minister Edi Rama also stopped at the work of the Traffic Police.

In his speech, Rama said that soon the smart camera system will be installed on the national roads to close, according to him, the era of speeding with eyes on the curves and corners of the roads.

"Traffic police should avoid routine ambushes on national roads. Smart cars can do the best speed control. Soon we will have a system of smart cameras that will be installed piece by piece on the country's national axes, starting soon with the first 200 kilometers, and the era of speed control with eyes on curves and road corners will finally end. Today, the Traffic Police must leave and can leave all the ambushes on all the national roads because there is plenty of work on the national roads to guarantee the non-violation of the axes, the brutal non-interventions, the non-construction outside the line defined by the law", said Rama.
