The author of yesterday's injury in Laprakë, Elton Mergjyshi, 40, surrendered to the police. Employees of Commissariat no. 3 received the testimonies of 2 of the injured yesterday evening in Laprakë, 40-year-old Roxhersa Rrapollari and her Italian husband, in order to discover the dynamics and motives of the event.

They have shown that the author Elton Mergjyshi had just gone to the bar where they were, first he argued with the Italian, asking him to account for why he had fired him.

In the above debate, he pulled out a knife and first injured 64-year-old Viktor Rrapollari, after he wanted to intervene to calm the situation.

According to his daughter's testimony, she said that when she saw her father injured, she intervened and at that moment the aggressor shot her in the hand. Then Mergjyshi wounded the Italian Massimo Sorvillo in the chest, who had rented the bar where the incident took place.

The 47-year-old Italian took his vehicle with Italian license plates and went himself to the Trauma Hospital together with his wife and her father.

The testimony of 64-year-old Viktor Rrapollari has not yet been received by the investigative group, as he is in a more serious condition than the other two injured. The Italian Sorvillo himself stated to the police that he had fired him because he did not like his job.
