Protesters destroy police car, several people arrested

The protest that started in front of the Parliament has escalated into violence against the police and institutions. Several dozen protesters have moved towards the Pedonales area, pursued by the police with the aim of removing them from the area around the Parliament.

Protesters reacted by throwing eggs and other hard objects such as stones and other objects at the police, some of whom are believed to have been injured.

Several police cars were attacked and destroyed by the strong impact.
