Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari has arrived at the Trauma Hospital, where he visited three police officers, two of whom were injured by stone-throwing by protesters outside the premises today.
Lamallari said that they are in a stable condition, while declaring that those who threw stones at them have been identified and will be brought to justice.
"They have suffered head injuries, I want to assure the family that the situation is stable. I have a message for those vandals who dared to throw stones at the officers, they have been identified and will be escorted and will receive the most exemplary response provided by the law. This has nothing to do with the protest, this is a criminal act," said the minister from Trauma.
