The United States Embassy in Tirana has issued a security notice for American citizens regarding a protest planned for Monday evening, December 22, 2025, in the capital.

Increased police presence, roadblocks, and traffic disruptions are expected. The Albanian State Police has announced that protesters may block intersections in various parts of the city of Tirana.
