New details have been learned from the SPAK operation where the assassination attempt of  Xhevdet Plaku , also known as ' Akili ', who leads a criminal group in the field of drug trafficking, has been revealed.

The ' strong man of Durrës ', Kep Rapi and the former head of police station no. 6 in Tirana are suspected of collaborating in the assassination attempt against Xhevdet Plak as a revenge since the latter was one of the accused for the murder of Sali Rapi in 2014 in Italy.

The court of Savona at the time declared Besnik Plaku and Xhevdet Plaku , who were accused of the murder, innocent .

 Sali Rapi was killed with two 7.65 mm pistol bullets, this weapon was never found.

The witness Alfred Hasa, after leaving the hospital, disappeared without a trace, so his testimony could not be confirmed in the courtroom.

But who is Xhevdet Plaku, 'Achilles'?

Xhevdet Plaku was sentenced to 21 years and 6 months in prison, by a decision of the Court of Durrës, announced on May 31, 2004.

According to the decision of the Court of Durrës, on June 24, 2003, in Neighborhood No. 15, in the area of ​​Spitalla, Xhevdet Plaku killed citizen Saimir Sina with a firearm. The perpetrator and the victim were residents of the same neighborhood and were friends with each other.

Since Xhevdet Plaku was an immigrant in Italy, Saimir Sina was aware of the fact that he had a girlfriend, the citizen Nertila K. And, taking advantage of his personal acquaintance with this girl, he proposed to take her illegally to Italy , with the intention of joining her lover.

The girl accepted this proposal and, in July 2001, Sina, together with another person, took Nertila to Italy, changing the destination they agreed on.

The victim was sent to Rome, where they forced her to practice prostitution on their behalf.

The citizen Nertila K. returned to Albania in December 2001 and filed a criminal report for the above incident. The Durrës court has declared the citizen Saimir Sina guilty and sentenced him to 1 year and 6 months in prison.

At this time, Xhevdet Plaku, after becoming aware of Saimir Sina's actions towards his girlfriend, decided to take revenge, a plan he concretized a few days after Saimir's release from prison.

On the evening of June 24, 2003, after having observed and guarded him for several days, the Elder went with his car near Sina's apartment, who at that moment was accompanied by his brother and some other friends.

The convict called the victim and after a short verbal argument, at the moment when he was about to leave, he shot him three times with the pistol he was carrying without a permit, causing his death.
