The General Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, held a working meeting with the Local Police Directors.

9-month analyses, the work performance of every police officer, starting from the Director of the Local Directorate to the employee of the basic role, keeping the criminal situation under control and increasing even more the parameters of public and road safety, the fight against traffic illegal and any illegality that appears in the territory, as well as the dynamic follow-up of conflicts and citizen complaints, were some of the orders given by Proda.

Proda asked the local Police leaders to remain in charge of the services, to exercise control over the implementation of tasks by subordinates and to be alert to citizens' concerns and complaints.

Despite the stipulations in the New Police Law that local leaders must enter the competition, Proda has asked local Police leaders to perform their duties with dedication as long as they are in that position.

In conclusion, Proda emphasized that work performance, integrity and professionalism are essential criteria for a police officer, and the evaluation of each police officer will be based on these criteria.
