Four construction businessmen have been arrested after the discovery of a VAT fraud scheme, where it is learned that they have caused damage to the state of 127 million ALL.

The Durrës Prosecutor's Office issued arrest warrants for 4 citizens who run businesses in Fushë Krujë, while requesting "house arrest" and "compulsion to appear" measures for three other citizens.

1. Albana Paja , 36 years old, resident of Kruje, on whom the security measure "House Arrest" has been imposed

2. Brikena Cel a, 34 years old, resident in Fushe Kruje and Aldo Ferit Myftari, born on 09.05.1990, against whom the security measure "Compulsion to appear" has been imposed as persons suspected of committing the criminal offense "Criminal evasion". from article 300 of the Criminal Code

3. Aldo Myftari, 34-years-old, against whom the security measure "Obligation to appear" has been imposed

4. Indrit Allamani, 48 years old, against whom the security measure "Arrest in prison" has been imposed

For the following citizens, the security measure "Arrest in prison" has been imposed as persons suspected of committing the criminal offense "Creation of fraudulent schemes related to value added tax, and they have been declared wanted

1. Indrit Visha , 35 years old, born in Gjirokaster and living in Sherek, Nikel, Fushe Kruje

2. Redion Sefa , 21 years old, born and living in Qereke, Fushe Kruje

3. Lovjano Topi , 19 years old, born in Tirana and living in Qereke, Nikel, Kruje

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the subject "RS" has self-declared a total sales value of 286,301,702 ALL for the period of December 2023 and the subject "L" has self-declared a total sale of 162,302,300 ALL during December 2023.

In total, these entities have made sales that are estimated at 448,604,002 ALL, values ​​for which the Prosecution suspects are fictitious and were invoiced to the entities that operate in the field of construction "3D C" and IV FP.

Indrit Visha is said to be the administrator of 3D Constructions, owned by Edlira Visha.

The tax administration has verified the declared invoices, total sales, employment history of construction companies and relations with other businesses, resulting in a total of damage caused to the state in  the amount of ALL 127,551,874 .

Also, the investigation groups have carried out verifications of the equipment and vehicles owned by the construction companies, from which it turned out that the subject "3D C" owned only luxury vehicles, Mercedes Benz AMG 63, Mercedes Benz AMG GT 43, Porsche Cayenne, Land Rover or BMW X5. , where none of these machines are used for construction activity.

VAT fraud scheme with loss of 127 million ALL, the Durres Prosecutor's Office issues arrest warrants for the managers of construction businesses

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction requested the imposition of 'Prison arrest' for four citizens who run businesses in Fushë Krujë after investigations revealed a VAT fraud scheme, causing the state a loss in value 127,551,874 ALL.

The prosecution in cooperation with tax investigation officers in the General Directorate of Taxes discovered the VAT fraud scheme involving at least six entities operating in the construction field.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, verified the sales of the entity "RS", which self-declared a total sales value of 286,301,702 ALL for the period December 2023, and the entity "L", which self-declared a total sales of 162,302,300 ALL during December of the year 2023. In total, these entities have made sales that are estimated at 448,604,002 ALL, values ​​for which the Prosecutor's Office suspects are fictitious and were invoiced to entities that operate in the field of construction "3D C" and IV FP.

After the investigations carried out, the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës has approved the request of the Durres Prosecutor's Office for the appointment of "prison arrest" for four citizens who ran businesses with addresses in Fushë-Krujë, while requesting "arrest in house" and "obligation to appear" for three other citizens.

Also, the investigation groups have carried out verifications of the equipment and vehicles owned by the construction companies, from which it turned out that the subject "3D C" owned only luxury vehicles, Mercedes Benz AMG 63, Mercedes Benz AMG GT 43, Porsche Cayenne, Land Rover or BMW X5. . None of these vehicles are used for construction activity.
