The Traffic Police have appealed to drivers to exercise increased caution as the country is being hit by low temperatures that are expected to bring snow and frost to the roads.

Traffic Police Message:

Appeal for more caution from road users, mainly in mountainous areas, due to snowfall.

The Traffic Police has increased its presence on all road axes, with the aim of preventing road accidents, facilitating the movement of vehicles on busy axes, and assisting road users in cases of need.

The Traffic Police appeal to drivers to be careful while driving, as there is the presence of moisture and, on some mountain roads, the presence of snow.

Drivers of vehicles and motorcycles should respect road signs, use chains and winter tires on roads where necessary, and follow the instructions of Traffic Police officers on duty.

To moderate speed, maintain the appropriate distance from other vehicles, not to overtake incorrectly, to wear a seat belt and protective helmet, and not to use a mobile phone while driving vehicles and motorcycles.

If you need help, call the toll-free number 112.
