The murder of Behar Sofia

On Monday, the Special Court will start the trial in absentia for Jemin Shera, suspected by SPAK, as one of the organizers and orderers of the murder of Behar Sofia, on February 25, 2021 in Tirana.

Although on the run, Jemin Shera is charged with three charges, the most serious of which is premeditated murder and participation in a criminal group.

SPAK went towards the identification of Jemin Shera, as one of the organizers of this event, from some security camera footage, where he was standing before the murder with the other citizen considered the organizer, Skënder Vathi.

The latter is currently being tried together with three other arrested persons, who helped Ernejt Shyti to carry out the execution in the center of Tirana, near the former Pyramid.

After the identification and arrest, Shyti decided to speak for justice and told how he was promised 50 million lek for the murder, but he failed to receive it.

In the process, which is taking place in the Special Court, Shyti confessed to the three judges how the plan for Sofia's execution had started after the request made by citizen Xjulio Visha, his friend.

The victim was followed for several days in the route of his movements and during this time, the young man, identified by the clothes he threw away during his escape, practiced with the firearm, as he had never used it before.

Ernejt Shyti has also shown that the same persons accused in this murder had plans to carry out other paid events.
