'Politician linked to crime', PD: Taulant Balla involved in the murder

The Democratic Party, in a statement to the media through spokesperson Floriana Garo, said that "the Democratic Party has denounced Taulant Balla's involvement in the affairs and activities of the gangs of Elbasan, specifically with Gentian Sharra, with whom there are hundreds of phone conversations". DP has called on SPAK to open and investigate the file of lawyer Ravik Gurra.

"In the Albanian Parliament, a member of Rilindja never changes his name like some of his colleagues, but he has several surnames. Unlike the character of the Albanian feature film "Taulanti is looking for a sister", Taulanti-MP is looking for a last name. Sometimes he appears to us as Balla, sometimes as Bego, sometimes as Gurra, and other times as Xibraka. His name, without a surname, appeared two days ago in the testimony of the businessman from Elbasan, accused by the court of several criminal offenses, Ardian Çapja. As a politician, but also with a new palette: as a killer", says Garo.

She further stated that: Çapja testified that his lawyer Ravik Gurra was killed three years ago because he possessed interceptions that implicated a senior politician. Whose name is Taulant.

The Democratic Party and its chairman have endlessly denounced Taulant Balla's involvement in the affairs and activities of Elbasan gangs, specifically with Gentian Sharra, with whom there are hundreds of phone conversations.

His name has also appeared in the testimonies of penitents of justice. Nuredin Dumani mentioned his name as a high functionary of the Socialist Party in his testimony to the prosecutors. But from Duman to Çapja, Taulant Balla has gone from a corrupt politician to a politician who orders murder.

The Democratic Party asks SPAK to open and investigate the file of lawyer Ravik Gurra. If the justice bodies do not separate politicians from criminals and criminal politicians from politics, they become directly responsible for the abyss and the danger that threatens Albania.

The involvement of senior government politicians in corruption already comes from several sources. The constant denunciation of gangs and their political connections has been a motto of this pulpit. This is why there is a protest, among other things, on December 6. To tell Europe and its representatives that something is wrong in Albania. Politics and crime have become one. Those who love their country will understand. Those who have sold it and put it in offshore accounts will scream. The surname seeker will soon have to seek a lawyer for each llagap.
