Police issue official notice for former mayor Elvis Roshi: His phone, bills, oil

The police reveal the details of yesterday's operation conducted in Kavaja on the orders of SPAK, where the apartment and premises of former mayor Elvis Roshi were searched and his cell phone, as well as invoices, fuel coupons and even a voter list, were seized.

Searches were also conducted in the premises and homes of 4 other people, Orges Sinella, Tak Rroshi, Mirel Sinella and Tauland Hasa, while mobile phones, DVRs, fuel coupons and a tactical pistol were also seized.

The police confirmed that the action came in execution of the order of the Special Prosecution, within the framework of the investigation launched on election day, when a woman was arrested and escorted who was suspected of being involved in buying and selling votes on behalf of Elvis Roshi, a suspect in electoral corruption, while he was campaigning for his cousin Elton Roshi in Kavaja, who was running for Sali Berisha's PD-ADSHM.

"Roshi's mobile phone was blocked, and invoices, oil coupons and a voter list were found and seized in a premises owned by him," the State Police announced today (May 18).

Invoices, fuel coupons, voter lists, DVR, a pistol and 5 mobile phones were seized.

The Directorate for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes and the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, in the Criminal Police Department of the State Police, in cooperation with the officers of the BKH, in function of criminal proceedings no. 82, of 2025, executed the decision of 17.05.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, for the physical search and that in the apartments of 5 citizens.

During the search conducted on citizen E. Rr., 50 years old, resident of Kavaja, his mobile phone was blocked, and in a premises owned by him, invoices, oil coupons and a voter list were found and seized.

The police seized the mobile phones of citizens OS, 38 years old, T. Rr., 44 years old, both residents of Kavaja, and citizen TH, 35 years old, resident of Qerret, Durrës.

While the police seized a DVR, fuel coupons and a maneuver pistol from citizen MS, 37 years old, resident of Kavaja. These citizens are suspected of active corruption in the elections and investigations within the framework of criminal proceedings continue.
