The State Police has officially announced the extradition of the most wanted fugitive, Florenc Çapja.

The leader of the criminal group based in Elbasan was extradited today from Dubai to Rinas Airport in Tirana.

The 44-year-old is sentenced to life imprisonment.

Police announcement:

A citizen with high social risk is extradited from Dubai.

The 44-year-old, accused by SPAK and the Elbasan Court, of ordering 3 murders.

As a result of the exchange of information and coordination of actions with partners of the State Police, through INTERPOL structures, within the framework of the next phase of the international police operation codenamed "The Wanted", the second arrest in Dubai and the extradition to Albania of the internationally wanted, highly dangerous citizen F. Ç., 44 years old, born in Elbasan, was successfully finalized.

The 44-year-old is under the security measure "Arrest in prison", by the Criminal Court of Kosovo, in 2022, for the criminal offense "Providing conditions and means to commit murder", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group, as well as by the Elbasan Court, in 2021, for the criminal offenses "Murder under qualifying circumstances", committed in collaboration and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The extradition of the highly sought-after citizen F. Ç., proof of the very good cooperation of the State Police with international partners.

The State Police remains maximally committed to continuing police operations with the objective of locating, capturing and arresting, with the aim of extradition, citizens declared internationally wanted.
