Former Big Brother resident Genta Gjalpi has been criminally prosecuted while at large, after a video was published online showing her committing violent acts against her partner's minor daughter.

The police announce that investigative actions are underway to clarify the circumstances of this case.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 6 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen G. Gj., 35 years old, after a video published on a portal showed her committing violent acts against her cohabitant's minor daughter. Investigative actions are being carried out to clarify the circumstances of this case ," the police announced.

In the footage provided by the security cameras at the market, Genta Gjalpi and the little girl are seen near the market cash register making the payment, and at that moment Genta grabbed the girl by the hair.

Then, the girl tries to leave while Genta, in an attempt to grab her hand, falls, follows her, pulling her by the shirt, and pushes her to take her out of the market premises.

The incident has caused numerous reactions, considering her behavior unacceptable.

The girl's mother has also reacted to the incident, writing in a comment alongside the video published by JOQ:  "I am the mother of the child in the video and my hands are shaking from what I am seeing here. This man who raises his hand on my daughter, who I entrusted to her father, will face the law!"
