A gunshot wound was recorded on Monday evening in Tirana, where 34-year-old Juxhin Hamajezi was injured.

According to the police report, at around 23:55, Hamajezi presented himself to the hospital to receive medical attention after being wounded in the leg, suspected to have been shot. Fortunately, his life is out of danger.

Initial investigative actions indicate that the injury occurred on "Aleksandër Moisiu" street, during a momentary conflict for weak motives.

The 34-year-old himself has stated to investigators that the conflict was momentary, while the full circumstances of the incident still remain unclear.

The investigation team is continuing its work to fully uncover the incident, as well as to identify and apprehend the perpetrator or perpetrators involved in the injuries.
