Police have solved the incident where a 40-year-old man was injured yesterday in Vora.

According to what the blue uniforms say, the 40-year-old accidentally shot himself in the apartment with a firearm he possessed without a permit and then shot himself several times to stage an assassination attempt on him.

The arrested person has been previously convicted of illegal possession of weapons and crimes against property.

 A 43-year-old man was also arrested for failing to report a crime.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.

"The circumstances of the incident that occurred yesterday morning, in the village of Marikaj, are being documented. He accidentally injured himself in his apartment, with the firearm he possessed without a permit, and then shot himself several times, in order to stage an assassination attempt on him, the 40-year-old man is being handcuffed. The arrested man, previously convicted of illegal possession of weapons and crimes against property. A 43-year-old man is also being handcuffed, for failing to report a crime.

Following the investigative actions carried out by the Vora Police Commissariat, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to clarify the circumstances of the gunshot wound to a citizen, who had presented himself to the hospital for medical assistance, it became possible to clarify and document the circumstances of the incident. At the end of the actions in the case, the following citizens were arrested: EA(M.), 40 years old (the injured citizen) and SK, 43 years old, both residents of the village of Marikaj.

The investigation suspects that the 40-year-old accidentally shot himself in the apartment with a firearm, which he possessed without permission, and then shot several times, in order to stage an assassination attempt on him. To prevent the truth from being discovered, this citizen removed the DVR of a security camera near his apartment. Citizen SK transported the 40-year-old to the hospital and during the procedural actions by the Police, did not report the circumstances of the incident. The 40-year-old continues to be under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life. The firearm was found in this citizen's apartment and was seized as material evidence, " the Police announced.
