SPAK has completed the investigations into the CEZ-DIA file, the lobbying of the former LSI in the USA, and the property investigation against Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi.

The former couple Meta-Kryemadhi, who divorced a short time ago, are being investigated for corruption, money laundering, and failure to declare and conceal assets.

The Prime Minister will be informed of the charges at 12:00 by SPAK, while former President Meta is expected to be informed of the charges at 14:00.

The charges will also be communicated to other individuals exposed in this file, Ema Çoku and Pirro Xhixho.

SPAK is expected to send the file to the court within a few days.

In a preliminary hearing, the GJKKO will decide whether the case will proceed to trial, be sent back for additional facts, or even dismissed for lack of evidence.

Monika Kryemadhi is under compulsory appearance, while Meta is in prison custody, having been arrested on October 21, 2024.
