The attack of the Pit Bull dog that happened on November 2, 2023 in the city of Durrës, has caused irreparable damage to the health of the elderly Halil Basha.

According to "Ora News", the 84-year-old man has lost one of his ears and dentures. His ear and teeth were pulled out precisely by Armand Lala's dog, the latter already prosecuted for the charge of "Abandonment of accompanied animals".

The investigation of this case is being followed by the prosecutor of Durrës, Madrit Kullolli, who is expected to request a forensic examination of the injured person, Halil Basha, in the coming days.

The event was warned by the nephew of the injured Halil Basha, Bashkim Basha, who before the dog attack on his uncle, had met Armand Lala, telling him and advising him to be careful with the three dogs, that he would they bite the residents of the area.

But the owner of the three dogs told him that they do not attack anyone outside, except in the inner part of the yard. According to Bashkim Basha, it was Xhevahire Lami who informed him that the dog had attacked his uncle.

"...I immediately went out to run away, when a woman from the neighborhood came to me, who told me:"...take the hat and the teeth because they belong to your uncle Halil Basha...". I saw the ambulance standing there and then the ambulance left in the direction of the hospital...".

Basha, being in these conditions, immediately went to the Durrës regional hospital and saw his uncle Halil Basha, bitten by the dog on the head and in several places on the body, tearing off one of his ears.

In the statement against which the investigations are being carried out, citizen Armand Lala stated that regarding the incident he said that:

He lives at the aforementioned address and has 3 (three) pit bulls, where two are brown and one is white.

He has taken these dogs since they were little puppies and raised them himself, where they are now about 2 years old. He rented the apartment where he lives from citizen Fatmir Jakupi Mynevere Jakupi in March 2023.

He was at work today and left the 3 (three) dogs inside the fence of the apartment and when he came home from work, the neighbors told him that the white dog attacked and bitten the elderly citizen Halil Basha, who was also torn off wears and is in the hospital.

He declares that he is sorry for the citizen Halit Basha, who was bitten by my white dog "Pit-bull", a resident whom he knows and is of advanced age. He apologizes for the damage his dog has done to him.'
