The train crash/ Witnesses: We saw horror, the lights went out and...

One person died and dozens were injured in the accident in the Netherlands. Shocking moments were experienced by the passengers of the train that derailed in the Netherlands. After the accident, the train collided with a crane, while this video shows the first moment after the accident.

A man's voice is heard there, repeatedly calling to those in the wagon to get out. The same person is heard asking "are you okay?" . Seconds later, other passengers can be seen trying to open the carriage door to get out, while calling for help.

"It was like a movie, the lights went out, it got dark, people were trying to get off the train," 20-year-old Anwar, one of about 50 passengers, told Dutch media. After the collision, the first carriage of the train derailed and then two other carriages were engulfed in flames. The injured were taken to hospitals near the area south of Amsterdam.

Authorities have launched investigations while Prime Minister Mark Rutte and the Dutch royal family expressed their condolences to the victims.
