Report TV has contacted and talked with the father of Aleksandër Laho, otherwise known as Rrumi i Shijak. Xhemal Muharremi has given a statement off camera, in which he denies that Rrumi knew Aldi Mustafa. He says that they are not related to each other and that they have never met.

Xhemal Muharremi:  Our family member has no connection with Aldi Mustafa. For some time, fake news has been circulating in the media that Aleksandër Laho (Rrumi) and Aldi Mustafa know each other and that they had contact with each other, which we cannot accept because it is not true.

Have they exchanged conversations, have they ever met under your knowledge? What is the origin of the connection of the name of the two persons in question?

Xhemal Muharremi:  No phone calls have been exchanged between them, much less have they met physically. Our family member has nothing to do with Aldi Mustafa. The only way through which we have seen the connection between these two names has been in the media, no policeman, investigator, prosecutor or judge has contacted us to question us or our family if Aleksandër Laho and Aldi Mustafa know each other - the other.

So you say that there is no recognition between them?

Xhemal Muharremi:  We want to deny this news as it is completely false. Please do not gossip in the media about unknown affairs and events. We do not want such statements to be made without any accurate evidence, as they harm us and we want to be realistic with what happens.
