Stalking, violence and theft, dozens arrested and prosecuted in the last 24

Dozens of people have been prosecuted and arrested in the last 24 hours in Tirana, for various criminal offenses such as violence, theft, stalking, or even illegal construction.

Police Announcement:

The Illicit Trafficking Investigation Specialists referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated in the absence of the following citizens:

-I. Xh, 34 years old, after verifications revealed that his vehicle was stolen in Germany;

-F. Sh, 51 years old, after driving a vehicle, which upon verification turned out to be stolen in Belgium.

Both vehicles were seized as evidence.

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes:

- they arrested citizen IT, and declared citizens E. Dh. and FG wanted, with their respective duties, works supervisor, technical manager and administrator, in a construction company, for the criminal offense of "Illegal construction";

- Citizen EB was declared wanted, as it is suspected that he fraudulently took a large amount of money from citizen MB. Work is underway to capture 3 citizens.

Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 1:

-arrested citizen E. Sh., 34 years old, for possessing a quantity of Cannabis;

-detained in cooperation with the Durrës Police services, the citizen declared wanted, for the criminal offense of "Stalking", RP, 41 years old, resident of Durrës.

Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 2:

-referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen JM, as she is suspected of threatening a citizen;

-they declared the EC citizen wanted, as he is suspected of disturbing a female citizen. Work is underway to capture the EC citizen;

- Citizen EP was declared wanted, as he is suspected of stealing 1 electric vehicle. Efforts are underway to capture citizen EP

Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 3:

-arrested citizen RA, 29 years old, and referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizens OG and RK, as the arrested man is suspected of having exercised violence against his girlfriend, while the 2 persons prosecuted punched citizen RA;

-the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen EP, after he was caught throwing fireworks.

Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 4:

-they arrested citizen HL, 37 years old, in flagrante delicto, after she was suspected of partially burning, for weak motives, the apartment owned by her boyfriend;

-the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen AV, 54 years old, a nurse by profession, after a patient reported him for negligence during medical treatment.

Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 5:

-arrested citizen H. Xh., 50 years old, on suspicion of having exercised violence against his wife;

-the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen Gj. Z., as he is suspected of having exercised violence against his mother.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 6 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated in the absence of the following citizens:

-RD, suspected of having hit citizen EQ with a hard object for weak motives;

-DB, for the criminal offense of "False reporting to law enforcement agencies".

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Krujë Police Commissariat have declared citizen SZ wanted, as he is suspected of having committed violence against his wife. Work is underway to capture this citizen.

Traffic specialists arrested the following citizens:

-EK, 43 years old, after on the "Vorë-Tirana" axis, at around 05:20, the vehicle he was driving hit the pedestrian, citizen NM, 64 years old, who was crossing the traffic divider. As a result, this citizen lost her life in hospital;

-AO, 23 years old, DY, 55 years old and PM, 34 years old, after they were caught driving while intoxicated;

-AV, 33 years old, suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotics. The verifications resulted in the Court sentencing him to 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Removing a prisoner from his place of residence";

-EG, 21 years old, after the vehicle he was driving hit the pedestrian, citizen AM, 63 years old, who is under medical care;

-MM, 64 years old, after the vehicle he was driving at the Bathore roundabout hit the pedestrian, citizen N. Sh., 75 years old, who is under the care of doctors.

Yesterday, citizen KG reported that an account was opened on social networks with his credentials, which is being used to violate his integrity. Work is underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s) of the case.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
