A serious event shook the city of Brest in France, where an Albanian couple,  Andon Janaqi and Anjeza Zeneli , from Libonik, were found dead in their apartment.

On Thursday afternoon, local police were notified of gunshots at the couple's apartment.

They immediately arrived at the scene where they found the bodies of a man and a woman, aged 36 and 30 respectively.

The couple were parents to two sons and had been living in France for four years. The mother of Andonin, the 36-year-old who took the extreme step of killing his wife and then himself, recently spoke out about the tragedy.

For euronews , she confessed that her son loved his wife very much, but recently they have had arguments with each other.

Asked if she has communicated with the 30-year-old's family, Andoni's mother said that they have refused to speak to her.

Andoni's mother: They are with French cards, lately I don't know how this conversation about the boy started. I need help to bring my son's body to me, I have a small salary, my older maid is mentally disabled.

I want the state's needs. I haven't spoken to the bride's family. What the hell are you talking about, they said. I don't apologize for saying this to me, you don't have the face to talk to me. She's my son, I'm my son. He did it out of love because he loved her so much.

It's a wound for both him and me. Even for the children he left behind. He has problems, his son ran away, he left my children. With a mentally disabled daughter. "Logically, hardworking, he never broke anything. I had a great son," she confessed, while among other things appealing to the state to help her bring her son's body back since their economic situation is not good and they have no means.
