Klodian Çalamani, accused of the rape and murder of 8-year-old Mateo Vasiu, was forcibly taken to court by the police. The decision came after three hearings were postponed due to Çalaman's absence in the courtroom, Balkan Web reports.
He entered through the front door of the court used by the administration, and not through the entrance where all the other accused enter, to avoid confronting the victim's family members, who demanded the death penalty for him. During the session, the testimonies of all the witnesses will be taken to shed more light on the serious crime.
Klodian Çalamani is accused of the criminal offenses "Sexual or homosexual relationship with a minor with violence" and "Murder in other qualifying circumstances against a minor".
