Prime Minister Edi Rama, after the government meeting, explained why luxury resorts are needed.

"I also have to deal with people who say 'what do we need luxury resorts for because they are not for us'. In fact, the opposite is true. Luxury resorts are the ones that bring the highest income to the economy from tourism. Now that young people have ChatGPT, they can ask why they should accept the luxury resort and ChatGPT will answer that the luxury resort brings income for them too. 1 euro that goes into a luxury resort is accompanied by 1.6 euros that goes into the local economy," said Rama.

"Just look at Montenegro, it doesn't produce rockets or cars. What does it produce? Tourism. How do you explain that in Montenegro salaries have been higher for a long time, pensions are at a different level? The answer is very simple: luxury resorts. So, I have no dilemma about this," Rama added.
