A car ended up in the River Lana this evening in Tirana, while there are no reports of damage.

That's because when police and ambulances arrived at the scene, the Volkswagen vehicle found neither the driver nor passengers.

The incident occurred in the area of "Brryli" in Tirana, while the vehicle under still unclear circumstances, has come off the main road and fell inside the Lana canal.

Police and other services are on the scene to launch investigations and extract the vehicle from the canal. It is also being investigated for the owner of the car and whether he was damaged by the accident.
