Footage of the scene has been released a few minutes after the assassination attempt with a barrage of bullets in Vlora, where 30-year-old Kevin Hajrulla was injured.

It is learned that he is the son of Inez Hajrulla's uncle, a name known to the police of this city after he escaped at least two assassination attempts.

It is suspected that Kevin Hajrulla was the target of the perpetrators this Wednesday evening.

He is reported to have sustained gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital in serious condition.

As can be seen from the footage, just moments after the incident, it was the citizens who helped take him to the hospital.

After the incident, a KIA car was found burned in a village in Vlora. It is learned that two automatic weapons and two cartridges suspected to belong to the perpetrators were found in it.

PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE VLORA POLICE:

This evening, at around 9:30 PM, in the “24 Maji” neighborhood, Vlora, under still unclear circumstances, citizen KH, about 30 years old, who was traveling in a “Benz” type vehicle, was wounded with a gunshot. As a result of the shooting, citizen AS, 35 years old, who was nearby at the time of the incident, was also wounded with a gunshot.

Both people were immediately transported to the Vlora Regional Hospital and are under the care of doctors.

During the combing of the area near the village of Panaja, it was possible to locate the vehicle suspected of being used by the perpetrators, which was engulfed in flames. Work is underway to extinguish the fire.

Police services immediately arrived at the scene and are working intensively to identify and apprehend the suspected perpetrator(s).

The investigation team is continuing its work to clarify the full circumstances of the incident.
